No. The documented JMA endpoints provide public weather data without an API key or login.
Which locations and forecast period does it cover?
It targets locations in Japan and rainfall changes over roughly the next 30 to 60 minutes, subject to available forecast tiles.
Does it provide exact rainfall rates?
No. Palette colors support approximate intensity descriptions, but the skill does not verify an official color-to-millimeters-per-hour mapping.
What tools are needed?
The examples use curl and Python. Pixel inspection requires Pillow or ImageMagick, and the selected pixel coordinates must be supplied.
What happens when JMA data is unavailable?
The instructions allow one or two retries, then report unavailable data and direct users to the official JMA map.
Does it handle weather warnings or tomorrow's forecast?
No. The author directs those questions to separate weather and disaster-alert skills, which are not included here.
