Using "image-edit". Choose a route for three product images that need matching white backgrounds.

Expected outcome:

Illustrative request plan: Nano Banana Edit with three source image URLs.
Preservation: keep product shapes, labels, and colors unchanged.
Settings: aspect ratio 1:1 and resolution 1K.
Execution requires authenticated RunComfy access; this example does not include a generated image.

Using "image-edit". Choose a route to remove cables from a street photograph using a prepared grayscale mask.

Expected outcome:

Illustrative request plan: Z-Image Turbo Inpaint with the source image and mask URLs.
Mask: white selects cables for editing; black preserves surrounding areas.
Initial settings: strength 0.5 and control scale 0.8, following the documented removal example.
Preservation: retain rooflines and the sky gradient; inspect the generated result for artifacts.

Sending confidential images or credentials through unapproved public URLs or placing tokens inside prompts.
Using a single-reference route for multiple images or requesting inpainting without a grayscale mask.
Combining many unrelated changes in one request and assuming subject identity or text accuracy is guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What must be installed before running an edit?

Install the RunComfy CLI and authenticate with a RunComfy account. The skill documents login and an environment-token option for CI.

How does the skill choose a model?

It maps the requested edit to four documented routes. Nano Banana Edit is the default when no specialized intent is identified.

How many reference images can I provide?

The guide lists up to 20 inputs for Nano Banana and 10 for GPT Image 2 Edit. Flux Kontext accepts one reference.

Do all edits require a mask?

No. The Z-Image Turbo Inpaint route requires a grayscale mask. White marks areas to edit; black marks areas to preserve.

Are images processed on my computer?

No. The documented CLI workflow sends requests to RunComfy, where servers fetch input URLs. Generated outputs are downloaded to the selected directory.

Are the example results guaranteed?

No. The examples illustrate request plans, not tested outputs. Quality, text accuracy, service availability, and subject preservation depend on the selected model.
