Test it

Using "personal-finance-visualizer". Fictional complete January records show USD 3,000 income and USD 1,200 expenses, with no refunds, transfers, or pending transactions.

Expected outcome:

  • January income: USD 3,000.00.
  • January personal spending: USD 1,200.00.
  • External cash movement: USD 3,000.00 inflow, USD 1,200.00 outflow, and USD 1,800.00 net increase.
  • Charts provide transaction drill-down for the supplied coverage.

Using "personal-finance-visualizer". Fictional records contain a USD 100 February purchase and its confirmed full USD 100 March refund.

Expected outcome:

  • The confirmed full-refund mapping removes the purchase from February personal spending.
  • Cash movement retains the February outflow and March inflow on their original dates.
  • Original transaction details remain available.

Using "personal-finance-visualizer". Fictional June 21 budget: USD 30 daily cap, complete coverage, USD 600 spent before today, and USD 12 spent today.

Expected outcome:

  • June budget: USD 900.00.
  • Opening allowance: USD 30.00 across 10 remaining days, including today.
  • Available today: USD 18.00.
  • Remaining monthly budget after today's spending: USD 288.00.

Security Audit

Safe
v8 • 10/27/2026 Open versioned report

All 134 static findings are false positives involving UI syntax, validation, translations, documented commands, or constrained local operations. Budget requests use a fixed same-origin endpoint; version checks are explicit metadata lookups, and exports require a new private local file. No evidence found of prompt injection, credential collection, unauthorized financial actions, or transaction exfiltration.

What You Can Build

Review Household Spending

Separate household purchases, internal transfers, and confirmed shared costs to compare monthly personal spending.

Distinguish Income From Transfers

Review supplied personal records and distinguish confirmed freelance income from reimbursements, loans, and unexplained deposits.

Track a Daily Allowance

Use confirmed spending and current month coverage to review a daily allowance and category reference shares.

Try These Prompts

Explore a Fictional Report
Show a clearly labeled fictional finance demo in English. Use the bundled local report and do not read my files.
Review a Normalized Export
Review [authorized CSV path] for [coverage period] in [currency]. Confirm date and sign mappings, ask about unresolved transactions, then show a local report.
Reconcile Multiple Statements
Reconcile [authorized statements] for [period] in [currency]. Ask about uncertain duplicates, account ownership, personal shares, refunds, and repayments before final charts.
Configure a Daily Allowance
Using [authorized records], prepare a daily allowance with [daily cap], [timezone], and [included expense groups]. Confirm classifications and coverage first. Use historical category shares when available; keep changes in page memory.

Best Practices

  • Confirm coverage, currency, amount signs, and uncertain transaction relationships before finalizing charts.
  • Use account aliases and standard input for newly normalized records; keep exports and report URLs private.
  • Check displayed totals and transaction details against source evidence, and use fictional data for saved screenshots.

Avoid

  • Do not classify unknown deposits as income or match refunds and repayments using similar amounts alone.
  • Do not publish reports or place real transaction data in repositories, examples, screenshots, or public issues.
  • Do not present incomplete coverage, unresolved classifications, or stale daily allowances as a complete financial picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which inputs can I use?
The renderer accepts normalized JSON and CSV. Raw bank exports need mapping; PDF extraction requires an authorized tool outside this skill.
Is the workflow fully offline?
The renderer uses bundled assets and local delivery. Agent host retention still applies; explicit version checks contact GitHub, and optional budget integrations use same-origin requests.
Can it connect to my bank or move money?
No. It analyzes authorized records and does not collect banking credentials, connect accounts, make payments, or provide investment advice.
How are uncertain transactions handled?
The workflow asks for missing facts before affected charts are final. Explicit provisional previews retain visible uncertainty and explain its effect.
Which languages and currencies are supported?
The interface supports English and Simplified Chinese. Each report uses one currency with two decimal places; currency conversion is not included.
Are reports and budget edits saved automatically?
Reports stay in process memory unless explicitly exported. Budget edits stay in page memory without an integration; card order persists in browser storage.
