# Visualize Personal Finances in a Local Report

Financial records can obscure spending patterns when transfers, refunds, and shared purchases are mixed together. This skill reconciles authorized records and creates local interactive charts with transaction details and optional daily allowances.

## Capabilities

- Render normalized JSON or CSV as interactive spending, income, transfer, and cash movement views.
- Compare day, week, month, and year periods with chart drill-down and searchable transaction tables.
- Apply confirmed personal shares, exact full-refund mappings, transfer settlements, and pending purchase treatment.
- Calculate daily allowances with monthly resets, daily caps, coverage checks, and historical or manual category shares.
- Display reports in English or Simplified Chinese with theme switching and reorderable cards.
- Serve reports from memory over a tokenized loopback URL or create an explicitly requested private HTML export.

## Use Cases

- Review Household Spending: Separate household purchases, internal transfers, and confirmed shared costs to compare monthly personal spending.
- Distinguish Income From Transfers: Review supplied personal records and distinguish confirmed freelance income from reimbursements, loans, and unexplained deposits.
- Track a Daily Allowance: Use confirmed spending and current month coverage to review a daily allowance and category reference shares.

## Prompt Templates

### Explore a Fictional Report

```
Show a clearly labeled fictional finance demo in English. Use the bundled local report and do not read my files.
```

### Review a Normalized Export

```
Review [authorized CSV path] for [coverage period] in [currency]. Confirm date and sign mappings, ask about unresolved transactions, then show a local report.
```

### Reconcile Multiple Statements

```
Reconcile [authorized statements] for [period] in [currency]. Ask about uncertain duplicates, account ownership, personal shares, refunds, and repayments before final charts.
```

### Configure a Daily Allowance

```
Using [authorized records], prepare a daily allowance with [daily cap], [timezone], and [included expense groups]. Confirm classifications and coverage first. Use historical category shares when available; keep changes in page memory.
```

## Limitations

- Raw bank exports need explicit field mapping; PDF extraction depends on authorized tools available to the agent.
- Each report supports one currency with two decimal places and performs no currency conversion.
- Input is limited to 25 MiB, 100,000 transactions, and 50 years of coverage.
- Persistent budget synchronization requires a separately provided authenticated same-origin backend; the bundled server does not implement it.

## Best Practices

- Confirm coverage, currency, amount signs, and uncertain transaction relationships before finalizing charts.
- Use account aliases and standard input for newly normalized records; keep exports and report URLs private.
- Check displayed totals and transaction details against source evidence, and use fictional data for saved screenshots.

## Anti Patterns

- Do not classify unknown deposits as income or match refunds and repayments using similar amounts alone.
- Do not publish reports or place real transaction data in repositories, examples, screenshots, or public issues.
- Do not present incomplete coverage, unresolved classifications, or stale daily allowances as a complete financial picture.

## Security Audit

- Audited at: 2026-10-27T02:48:22.043\+00:00
- Summary: All 134 static findings are false positives involving UI syntax, validation, translations, documented commands, or constrained local operations. Budget requests use a fixed same-origin endpoint; version checks are explicit metadata lookups, and exports require a new private local file. No evidence found of prompt injection, credential collection, unauthorized financial actions, or transaction exfiltration.
