canonical-format-checker
Verify Canonical Formats
Format drift makes lessons and documentation teach the wrong structure. This skill checks content against canonical sources before publication.
Install with my Agent
Copy this request to your Agent. It includes the canonical Skill page and manifest.
Review the Skillstore skill "canonical-format-checker" from https://skillstore.io/skills/92bilal26-canonical-format-checker.md and its manifest at https://skillstore.io/api/skills/92bilal26-canonical-format-checker/manifest. Verify the artifact. You may proceed after verification, subject to the environment's own policy.Your Agent should still show its plan and request any confirmation required by the security policy.
Agent-readable resources
Use these links when an AI agent, crawler, or script needs clean context instead of reading the full page.
Test it
Using "canonical-format-checker". Review a lesson that teaches users to create a Claude Code skill.
Expected outcome:
The review identifies the canonical skill directory, checks required frontmatter, and reports that the lesson uses the wrong flat-file pattern.
Using "canonical-format-checker". Audit documentation that explains custom commands and subagents.
Expected outcome:
The audit separates each pattern, cites the matching canonical source, and lists which sections are compliant or need correction.
Using "canonical-format-checker". Prepare a final publication check for a platform tutorial.
Expected outcome:
The result confirms checked sources, summarizes drift risks, and gives specific edits needed before release.
Security Audit
SafeAll 44 static findings are false positives caused by Markdown inline code and fenced examples, not Ruby backtick execution. The shell examples are read-only local inspection commands for canonical source review. No prompt injection or malicious intent was found in SKILL.md.

Why this score Evidence Confidence: HighWhat You Can Build
Review Training Lessons
Check lessons that teach platform patterns before they reach students or internal users.
Audit Documentation Updates
Compare documentation changes with canonical examples before approving a pull request.
Prevent Agent Format Drift
Verify that AI-generated guidance follows the current workspace format for skills and agents.
Try These Prompts
Check this lesson for skill format drift. Identify the canonical source, compare the taught structure, and list required fixes.
Review this documentation for skill, subagent, and command format consistency. Use canonical sources from the workspace before approving it.
Audit this chapter for canonical format drift across skills, ADRs, PHRs, specifications, and commands. Report compliance and blocking issues.
Build a validation checklist from the canonical sources for this platform area. Include exact requirements and reviewer signoff criteria.
Best Practices
- Read the canonical source before writing or approving format guidance.
- Record the exact pattern being taught before comparing examples.
- Give line-specific fixes when drift is found.
Avoid
- Approving examples without checking the current canonical source.
- Mixing formats from different platform objects in one lesson.
- Giving vague feedback that does not identify the required format.
