Eleven findings are false positives: Markdown backticks, official public data URLs, an abbreviated URL, and readable multilingual text. Two findings confirm predictable temporary file writes that can overwrite existing files or follow attacker-created symbolic links. No evidence found of prompt injection, credential access, or data exfiltration.

Temp directory access

curl -sm 20 -A 'Mozilla/5.0' 'https://web.water.gov.tw/wateroffapi/openData/export/json' -o /tmp/wat

curl writes to the predictable /tmp/water.json path without exclusive creation. Existing files can be overwritten, and precreated symbolic links can redirect writes.

SKILL.md:28

Temp directory access

curl -sm 20 -A 'Mozilla/5.0' 'https://web.water.gov.tw/wateroffapi/openData/export/csv-utf8' -o /tmp

curl writes to the predictable /tmp/water.csv path without exclusive creation. Shared temporary directory users can precreate symbolic links targeting files writable by the agent.

자주 묻는 질문

Do I need an API key or account?

No. The documented JSON and CSV endpoints provide public data without authentication.

Which AI tools are supported?

The skill supports Claude, Codex, and Claude Code. Live queries require an environment with network access and suitable retrieval tools.

Does this cover all of Taiwan?

No. It covers Taiwan Water Corporation service areas, excluding Taipei Water Department areas, Kinmen, and Matsu.

What does an empty result mean?

A valid empty response means no notices are listed in that source. Sudden interruptions may still be unlisted.

Can it check water bills or water quality?

No. The skill is limited to outage and pressure reduction notices.

What happens if the data source is unavailable?

The guidance recommends one retry after several minutes, then reporting a source failure. It should not be described as no outages.
