Untrusted Remote Command Directives
The pre-flight workflow tells the agent to do exactly what a CLI-provided action says and to follow a backend-provided next command after confirmation. A compromised service response could direct the agent to run an unintended command or forced upgrade.
Both files explicitly instruct the agent to act on command output fields rather than using a fixed allowlist. This creates a clear remote instruction trust boundary.

Automatic Installer Download and Execution
When the CLI is absent, the fallback directs the agent to download, checksum-verify, and run an installer automatically. This expands the supply-chain attack surface without requiring a separate user confirmation.
The fallback explicitly directs automated download and execution of an installer. Checksum verification reduces but does not remove trust in the distribution channel and checksum source.
