Which Prisma versions does this skill cover?

It routes setup for Prisma 6, 7, and 8. New applications default to 8, while existing applications retain their version unless an upgrade is requested.

Which databases have included references?

Prisma 7 references cover PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server, CockroachDB, and Prisma Postgres. MongoDB guidance targets Prisma 6.

Does it include all Prisma 8 implementation guidance?

No. It directs the agent to synchronize and read package-owned Prisma 8 guidance, and report a blocker when that guidance cannot load.

Will it upgrade an existing application automatically?

No. Connection repairs preserve the existing ORM version. Requested major upgrades require a migration workflow that supports the source version and database provider.

How should database credentials be provided?

Use ignored environment files or the host secret configuration. The workflow prohibits printing secrets and requires matching CLI and runtime database settings.
