  • Select explicit client and session identifiers when multiple targets are connected.
  • Read the supported method reference before sending CDP or App commands.
  • Request confirmation before evaluation, reflection, navigation, or state mutation.

  • Do not use stale snapshot references after refreshing the page or target.
  • Do not send Lynx-specific protocol methods to WebView sessions without checking compatibility.
  • Do not expose screenshots, traces, logs, or heap snapshots without user approval.

What must be installed?
The agent-lynx CLI must be available, or it can be invoked through npx.
Which platforms are supported?
The documentation covers Android, iOS, OpenHarmony, and desktop transports, with feature differences by platform.
Does every target support all CDP methods?
No. LynxView and WebView targets support different methods, and runtime versions may differ.
Can it capture screenshots and traces?
Yes. Captures are written locally and may contain sensitive application or user information.
Can it change the running application?
Yes. Evaluation, navigation, App commands, touch input, and ReactLynx updates can change application state.
Why can ReactLynx inspection fail?
It requires a development build, compatible preact-devtools support, and the correct active session.
