No. The production cutover requires immediate rollout to avoid a mixed protocol window.

Will the skill deploy to production automatically?

No. It must request explicit user approval before production cutover.

How does command execution change?

The preview API returns a process handle. Callers must collect output or wait for completion explicitly.
