Unicode Normalization Bypasses ASCII-Only Input Policy
Uppercasing before validation converts Unicode U+017F to ASCII S, allowing a non-ASCII identifier through the regex and checksum. This contradicts the documented rejection policy.
A constructed input containing U+017F followed by 123456784 normalizes to S123456784 and passes the documented regex and checksum. The original input is non-ASCII.

Does this skill need internet access or an API key?
No. The supplied examples perform local calculations without network calls, API keys, or database access.
Which identifiers are supported?
Eight-digit business numbers, national ID numbers, and new-format residence certificate numbers with second digits eight or nine are covered.
Does a passing checksum prove that a number was issued?
No. A passing checksum only establishes conformity with the calculation rule, not registration, identity, issuance, or authenticity.
Why is synthetic business number 10000073 useful?
It fails the ordinary calculation but passes the seventh-digit exception, making it useful for regression testing.
How are lowercase letters and non-ASCII inputs handled?
The ID validator strips whitespace and uppercases letters. Non-ASCII digits fail, but some Unicode letters normalize into accepted ASCII letters.
Can this skill check old-format residence certificates or retrieve registry records?
No. Old-format residence certificates are unsupported, and the skill does not query company or personal registries.
