The checker compares against the deployed stable signature, which can contain fields from an earlier version.
Can I edit an already-applied migration?
No. Applied migrations are tracked by module name and skipped on later upgrades. Express further changes through a new migration.
Can an enhanced migration project return to legacy persistence?
The reference describes no supported downgrade path. Preserve the chain and use a forward-only migration to achieve the requested state changes.
Does a successful build and check guarantee installation?
No. Chain history can exceed installation limits even when builds and checks pass. Investigate IC0505 and escalate platform limits.
