Manage Agent Skills with the Skills CLI
Finding and maintaining agent skills can be slow across tools and machines. This skill guides discovery, installation, updates, backups, and troubleshooting with the skills CLI.
Install with my Agent
Copy this request to your Agent. It includes the canonical Skill page and manifest.
Review the Skillstore skill "skills-cli" from https://skillstore.io/skills/xixu-me-skills-cli.md and its manifest at https://skillstore.io/api/skills/xixu-me-skills-cli/manifest. Verify the artifact. You may proceed after verification, subject to the environment's own policy.Your Agent should still show its plan and request any confirmation required by the security policy.
Agent-readable resources
Use these links when an AI agent, crawler, or script needs clean context instead of reading the full page.
Test it

A confirmation-oriented install plan that explains the target agent, source, scope, and expected result.
Using "skills-cli". Move my installed skills to a new laptop.
Expected outcome:
A backup and restore plan using Skills Vault or lock-file workflows, with warnings for source verification.

SafeNo confirmed security issues were found in the static results. The external command and network detections are markdown CLI examples, inline backticks, and public documentation links; the screenshot blocker is only a sample recommendation description. Why this score Evidence Confidence: HighWhat You Can Build
Find a Reliable Skill
Compare marketplace options, check source quality, and recommend an installable skill for a specific task.
Install Skills for an Agent
Choose the right source, skill name, agent target, and scope for a Codex or Claude Code setup.
Restore Team Skill Setups
Use lock files or Skills Vault guidance to reproduce installed skills across machines.
Try These Prompts
Find a reliable skill for React performance work. Compare options and recommend one for Codex.
Help me install the best skill for changelog generation into Claude Code. Explain the source and scope first.
Check how I should list, update, and remove installed skills for my Codex environment.
Design a repeatable workflow for backing up and restoring our team agent skills across new developer machines.
Best Practices
- Check source reputation, repository quality, and install count before recommending community skills.
- Confirm target agent and install scope before adding flags that change where skills are installed.
- Use Skills Vault when the user needs repeatable backup or team restore workflows.
Avoid
- Recommending the first search result without checking source and quality.
- Using older owner slash repo at skill syntax instead of current add syntax.
- Adding confirmation-skip flags during personal installs without a clear user request.
