This report does not block or authorize the manifest or ZIP.

Most static findings are false positives from documented MaxHub URLs, placeholder API key setup, Markdown code formatting, and API parameter tables. I found one high-severity semantic issue: the Channels reference gives procedural guidance for decrypting protected WeChat video media. No prompt injection attempt was found.

Risk findings

Confirmed security concerns are separated from items that still need review.

Confirmed security concerns (1)

RISK-001 High
Guidance to Decrypt Protected WeChat Video Media
The Channels API reference tells users to combine returned video links with tokens, download encrypted MP4 files, and use decode_key with an external decryption tool. This can help bypass platform media protections and extract protected content beyond normal viewing.
The documentation explicitly mentions encrypted MP4 files, decode_key values, and a third-party decryption tool. The language is instructional rather than incidental, so the abuse risk is clear.

Remediation

Suggested fixes recorded by this audit. Applying them is the maintainer’s responsibility.

  1. FIX-001
    High
    Protected media decryption guidance
Remove instructions and links that explain how to decrypt WeChat video files. Add a clear rule that the skill must not bypass platform access controls.
  2. FIX-002
    Medium
Data access boundaries are not explicit
Document that users should query only public or authorized content and must follow WeChat and MaxHub terms.
  3. FIX-003
    Medium
    Shell examples accept user-supplied parameters
Instruct assistants to URL-encode parameters and avoid direct shell interpolation of user input in curl commands.
  4. FIX-004
    Low
Credential handling depends on user configuration
Keep MAXHUB_API_KEY in sensitive config or environment variables. Never echo, log, or include the value outside the MaxHub Authorization header.
