skill-standardization
Validate Agent Skill Files
Skill files can drift from the Agent Skills specification and trigger unreliably. This skill validates structure, frontmatter, descriptions, and evaluation examples.
Install with my Agent
Copy this request to your Agent. It includes the canonical Skill page and manifest.
Review the Skillstore skill "skill-standardization" from https://skillstore.io/skills/supercent-io-skill-standardization.md and its manifest at https://skillstore.io/api/skills/supercent-io-skill-standardization/manifest. Verify the artifact. You may proceed after verification, subject to the environment's own policy.Your Agent should still show its plan and request any confirmation required by the security policy.
Agent-readable resources
Use these links when an AI agent, crawler, or script needs clean context instead of reading the full page.
Test it
Using "skill-standardization". Validate .agent-skills/pdf-tools before publishing.
Expected outcome:
A concise report lists required field status, section coverage, description length, and the edits needed before release.
Using "skill-standardization". Improve the trigger description for a spreadsheet skill.
Expected outcome:
A revised description states the supported spreadsheet tasks, when to use the skill, and related phrases users may type.
Using "skill-standardization". Batch audit every skill in a repository.
Expected outcome:
A repository-level summary separates blocking errors from warnings and identifies which skill directories need updates.
Security Audit
SafeContext review found that the static findings are false positives from shell arithmetic, fixed local parsing commands, Markdown backticks, and documentation links. No prompt injection, data exfiltration intent, unsafe network behavior, or arbitrary command execution was found in the reviewed files.

Skillstore Score
Why this score Evidence Confidence: HighWhat You Can Build
Prepare a Skill for Publishing
Validate structure, required frontmatter, and recommended sections before submitting a skill.
Audit a Skill Repository
Batch-check many skill directories and collect errors and warnings for cleanup.
Improve Skill Activation
Rewrite descriptions so agents understand capabilities, trigger conditions, and related user wording.
Try These Prompts
Use skill-standardization to check the skill in <path>. Summarize errors, warnings, and recommended edits.
Review <path>/SKILL.md. Rewrite the frontmatter description to explain capabilities, trigger conditions, and synonyms while staying under 1024 characters.
Convert the skill at <path> to standard Agent Skills structure. Preserve intent, normalize headings, and add missing recommended sections.
Batch validate all skills under <path>. Prioritize blocking errors, description quality, eval coverage, and scripts that need manual review.
Best Practices
- Run validation before publishing or changing a skill description.
- Keep SKILL.md concise and move long reference material to separate resources.
- Add evaluation prompts that match real user requests and expected outcomes.
Avoid
- Do not use vague descriptions that only name the domain.
- Do not hide required trigger details in references instead of frontmatter.
- Do not rely on interactive scripts because agent shells may be non-interactive.
