## Capabilities

- Defines onboarding questions about user goals, experience level, time commitment, and success metrics.
- Recommends welcome screens, account setup, core concept introductions, and first success moments.
- Designs empty states with value, next action, examples, visual support, and help links.
- Plans tooltips, feature announcements, guided tours, and interactive tutorials.
- Lists implementation patterns for tours, modals, progress tracking, and analytics.
- Suggests quality checks for completion, comprehension, skip rate, and time to value.

## Use Cases

- Create a First-Use Flow: Plan the welcome, setup, core concept, and first success steps for a new product experience.
- Improve Empty States: Turn blank pages into useful entry points with value copy, examples, actions, and help links.
- Audit Feature Adoption: Review tooltips, tours, and tutorials for clarity, timing, skip paths, and repeat behavior.

## Prompt Templates

### Plan a Simple Onboarding Flow

```
Design an onboarding flow for [product or feature]. The target users are [audience]. The desired aha moment is [moment].
```

### Rewrite an Empty State

```
Improve this empty state: [current copy or screenshot notes]. Explain the value, add a clear action, and suggest one helpful example.
```

### Design Contextual Help

```
Create contextual help for [workflow]. Include trigger moments, tooltip copy, dismiss behavior, and links to deeper help.
```

### Audit an Onboarding Journey

```
Audit this onboarding journey: [steps, screens, or notes]. Identify friction, missing context, weak skip paths, and time-to-value risks.
```

## Limitations

- Does not include executable implementation files or reusable UI components.
- Requires product context to produce specific onboarding copy and flows.
- Does not run usability tests or collect analytics by itself.
- Mentions third-party libraries but does not install or configure them.

## Best Practices

- Start by defining the target user, desired aha moment, and minimum successful action.
- Make onboarding optional when possible and preserve a clear skip path.
- Track completion and dismissals so users do not see the same prompt repeatedly.

## Anti Patterns

- Forcing every user through a long tour before they can use the product.
- Explaining every feature upfront instead of teaching the next useful action.
- Showing tooltips repeatedly after users dismiss or complete them.

## Security Audit

- Audited at: 2026-07-06T20:30:12.198\+00:00
- Summary: The static findings are false positives caused by Markdown code fences, inline Markdown formatting, and UX guidance in SKILL.md. I found no evidence of shell execution, system reconnaissance, data exfiltration, prompt injection, or malicious intent in the reviewed file.
