Installation context

Check the current Skill page

This page summarizes report evidence only. The Skill page provides the canonical install advisory.

This report does not block or authorize the manifest or ZIP.

The four reconnaissance alerts are normal preview and lookup instructions. The 12 shell-backtick alerts identify Markdown code spans, not Ruby execution. However, command templates interpolate user-provided values without explicit argument escaping, creating a medium command-injection risk.

Limitations

This report does not claim runtime or sandbox execution and does not prove the absence of side effects.

Evidence chain

Follow the evidence from source binding to the install contract. Available evidence supports verification; it is not a safety guarantee.

Risk findings

Confirmed security concerns are separated from items that still need review.

Confirmed security concerns (1)

RISK-001 Medium
Unsafe Shell Argument Construction Guidance
Command templates place user-controlled symbols, alert IDs, prices, and group names into shell commands without requiring validation or structured argument passing.
The templates visibly interpolate user-derived placeholders into commands. A safe executor could avoid shell parsing, but the instructions do not require that protection.

Remediation

Suggested fixes recorded by this audit. Applying them is the maintainer’s responsibility.

  1. FIX-001
    Medium
User-provided values enter shell command templates without explicit safe argument handling.
Require structured argument arrays or strict validation for symbols, IDs, prices, and names. Never concatenate these values into a shell command.
