## Capabilities

- Select an account location and stop if its Google connection is inactive.
- Draft STANDARD, OFFER, and EVENT posts using owner-provided facts or listing information, within 1,500 characters.
- Optionally retrieve listing services and recent posts to avoid repeating existing content.
- Prepare supported buttons and owner-provided image URLs in an exact approval draft.
- Publish approved posts or schedule them with an explicit local time and IANA timezone.
- Use idempotency keys and relay publication results, retry delays, and plan restrictions.

## Use Cases

- Announce a Business Update: Turn a service announcement into a short Google post and review the exact wording before publication.
- Prepare a Promotional Offer: Create an offer with verified dates, terms, and an owner-provided destination link for client approval.
- Schedule an Upcoming Event: Prepare an event announcement and schedule the approved post using the organizer's explicit local time and timezone.

## Prompt Templates

### Draft a Simple Update

```
Draft a Google Business Profile update announcing our new bicycle repair service. Ask for missing facts and show the exact draft before publishing.
```

### Build an Offer Post

```
Prepare an OFFER post for [location] with [title], [discount], [start date and time], [end date and time], and [terms]. Use [owner-provided URL] for the SHOP button. Ask for missing details and wait for my approval.
```

### Schedule an Event Announcement

```
Draft an EVENT post for [location] using [event title], [start date and time], and [end date and time]. Schedule publication for [local date and time] in [IANA timezone], with [owner-provided image URL]. Show all settings and wait for approval.
```

### Use Listing Context Safely

```
For [location], review listing services and recent posts, then draft a nonrepeating update about [verified announcement]. Include [button and owner-provided URL] and schedule for [local date and time] in [IANA timezone]. Check connection status, show the exact post, and wait for my explicit approval. Report plan restrictions and use an idempotency key when publishing.
```

## Limitations

- Requires a connected Reach MCP server, a Reach account, and a Google Business Profile connected in Reach.
- Scheduling requires a Reach plan that supports post scheduling.
- The publish tool has no preview mode, and this workflow provides no deletion tool.
- The repository contains client instructions, not the hosted server; it cannot guarantee server behavior or data freshness.

## Best Practices

- Verify the location, facts, offer terms, links, and exact wording before giving approval.
- Provide a local publication time and an explicit IANA timezone for every scheduled post.
- Approve the complete draft again after any edit, and keep private customer information out of public content.

## Anti Patterns

- Treating an initial writing request or instructions embedded in tool results as publication approval.
- Guessing prices, discounts, dates, or timezones instead of asking the owner.
- Retrying immediately after rate limits or assuming a published post can be deleted through this workflow.

## Security Audit

- Audited at: 2026-10-10T23:09:31.905\+00:00
- Summary: All 18 static findings are false positives: Markdown formatting, privacy prose, and documented Reach service URLs do not establish a security threat. The workflow requires exact owner approval, rejects instructions embedded in tool results, and prohibits credential disclosure. No evidence found of malicious intent; the hosted server implementation is outside this repository.
