layer-video
Create Motion-Controlled Videos with Layer
Video prompts can produce weak motion, drifting subjects, or clips with the wrong duration. This skill guides Layer model selection, image anchoring, motion prompts, and loop checks.

Test it
Using "layer-video". Plan a five-second idle loop from my approved character frame.
Expected outcome:
- Select an image-to-video model with loop and fixed-duration capabilities.
- Check whether the model accepts the same image as both starting and ending frames.
- Motion prompt: The character breathes slowly while the cloak moves gently. Keep the camera locked and the motion continuous.
- Estimate cost and request approval before generation when required.
- Inspect playback across the clip boundary before accepting the result as a loop.
Using "layer-video". Plan a three-shot product advertisement using approved still images.
Expected outcome:
- Confirm whether one generation can support the intended advertisement before splitting it into shots.
- Shot one: Show the product from the approved opening frame with a slow camera push.
- Shot two: Use a compatible anchored frame for an orbit, checking structured camera-effect support.
- Shot three: Hold the final product view with a locked camera.
- If separate clips are required, use the related timeline skill for assembly and inspect continuity.
Security Audit
SafeAll 34 static findings are false positives: backticks format Markdown, and the reconnaissance match describes character motion. The installation example asks the user to install related skills rather than directing automatic execution. No evidence found of prompt injection, credential theft, or unauthorized data transfer in SKILL.md.

Skillstore Score
Why this score Evidence Confidence: MediumWhat You Can Build
Animate Approved Character Art
Plan a short idle loop from an approved character frame while preserving the design and checking loop continuity.
Plan a Product Advertisement
Define consistent shots from approved product imagery and identify when timeline assembly is needed.
Prepare a Dialogue Clip
Find models with native audio and lip sync capabilities, then define subject motion and camera behavior.
Try These Prompts
Write a Layer video prompt for a banner moving in wind. Specify subject motion, a locked camera, and movement rate.
Plan animation from my approved product still. Use a slow camera push and inspect supported frame inputs and structured camera effects.
Find Layer models for a six-second character dialogue clip with native audio and lip sync. Check duration support and estimate cost before generation.
Plan a four-shot trailer from approved character art. Check single-generation feasibility, define motion per shot, and identify storyboard and assembly dependencies. Obtain cost approval.
Best Practices
- Inspect the selected model schema before choosing frame inputs, camera effects, duration, or audio settings.
- Anchor animation on approved images and specify subject motion, camera behavior, and movement rate.
- Estimate spending before execution and inspect clip duration, appearance, and loop transitions after generation.
Avoid
- Describe only a static scene or leave camera movement unspecified.
- Assume every model supports exact duration, native audio, lip sync, or structured camera effects.
- Call a clip seamless without inspecting the transition from its ending to its beginning.
