This report does not block or authorize the manifest or ZIP.

Most static pattern hits are documentation examples, Markdown formatting, or deliberately unsafe eval fixtures rather than active malicious code. No prompt injection evidence was found in the reviewed files. Two semantic risks remain: target script execution in Standard and Deep checks, and unpinned pip installation guidance using --break-system-packages.

Risk findings

Confirmed security concerns are separated from items that still need review.

Confirmed security concerns (2)

RISK-001 High
Untrusted Target Script Execution
Standard and Deep workflows instruct the agent to execute scripts from the skill being tested after static review. This can run untrusted code from a user-selected skill directory if the review misses a dangerous pattern.
The guide explicitly runs scripts from the target skill and only requires a warning when Critical findings were detected. This is a real execution risk for untrusted skills, although it supports the testing purpose.
RISK-002 High
Unpinned Package Installation With System Package Override
Mock generation guidance tells the agent to install third-party packages with pip and --break-system-packages when binary formats are needed. This can modify the host Python environment and exposes users to dependency supply-chain risk.
The dependency section directly recommends pip install commands without pinning, hashes, virtual environments, or mandatory user confirmation. The --break-system-packages flag increases the environment modification risk.

Remediation

Suggested fixes recorded by this audit. Applying them is the maintainer’s responsibility.

  1. FIX-001
    High
Untrusted target scripts can be executed during Standard and Deep checks.
Require explicit user confirmation before every target script execution, run scripts in a sandbox, and disable network access unless requested.
  2. FIX-002
    High
Mock dependency guidance installs packages with --break-system-packages.
Use a virtual environment, pin package versions, avoid --break-system-packages, and ask before installing any dependency.
  3. FIX-003
    Medium
Dangerous fixture scripts are bundled as normal Python files under evals.
Keep insecure fixtures clearly labeled, do not execute them in evals, and add guard comments near each dangerous function.
