A separate trust concern exists: substring-based bot identification can misattribute comments whose suggested fix prompts enter the review workflow. Weak Bot Identity Matching in Review Prompt Intake

The reference selects any login containing greptile, then returns the latest matching comment. The workflow explicitly inspects its suggested AI fix prompt. An unrelated account with a matching login can be misidentified as the bot and influence proposed fixes.

The filter uses case-insensitive substring matching instead of exact account verification. Exploitation depends on a matching commenter and agent behavior; user approval partially limits exposure.
