Most static alerts are false positives caused by Markdown, CSS, filenames, fixed URLs, and ordinary Python imports. The skill still handles a Gmail OAuth token with modify access and stores private mailbox metadata locally. Raw header output, broad TLD rules, and unsupported telemetry claims require clear safeguards before publication.

Gmail OAuth Token Stored Beside the Skill

The client stores a refresh-capable OAuth token locally for the gmail.modify scope. Theft of this token can expose headers and permit mailbox labeling, archiving, or Trash actions.

The code declares token.json, refreshes existing credentials, and writes newly authorized credentials. The declared scope explicitly includes Gmail modification access.

Untrusted Email Headers Reach Agent-Visible Output

Raw sender, subject, and unsubscribe header text is printed to the terminal. Crafted email text can present prompt-injection instructions or terminal control characters to an AI operator.

The values come directly from Gmail message headers and are printed without control-character filtering or an agent-safe data boundary. SKILL.md warns operators, but output handling does not enforce that boundary.

Broad TLD Rules Can Drive Destructive False Positives

A sender can be quarantined solely because its domain ends in broad suffixes such as .us, .me, .at, or .info. The same classification can reach Trash after one file-level confirmation.

The default list contains common public suffixes, and a suffix match directly returns QUARANTINE_TLD. Execution rechecks the same rule and can pass move_to_trash after confirmation.

Telemetry Makes Unsupported Safety Claims

The summary labels every recorded action as a botnet threat and always reports zero legitimate messages touched. The tracker does not collect evidence that supports either claim.

The tracker records quarantine or Trash events without threat validation or restoration outcomes. The fixed output text nevertheless asserts botnet attribution and perfect accuracy.
